Christine M. Johnston

Christine M. Johnston, 62 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Sr. and Eddie Mae McQuay and retired from Bell Atlantic as a Service Representative with more than 30 years of service. Christine enjoyed writing, reading and gardening but most of all, she loved her family and holiday events. She leaves to celebrate her life and memory her children; Jacqueline (Eric) Williams and Andre (Monique) Johnston, siblings; Jesse Jr. (Francis) , Mary “Jeanette”, Edward, Steven and William McQuay, two grandchildren; Alanna Johnston and Breonna Spriggs and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2013 at Hooper Memorial Home at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m., with burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
