Charles E. Slade Jr.

Charles E. Slade, 57 of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Charles was the son of the late Charles E. Slade, Sr., and Hortence Slade.

Charles attended the Harrisburg School System and went on to earn several trades certifications of work. He started his career as a Security Detail and went on to work for other security companies. Charles enjoyed working and making money. His hobbies include detailing his car, collecting sneakers aka “Sneaker Head” and watching his favorite football team play, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Charles was known for his sense of humor, funny and crazy personality, but also for his ability to think through a problem and figure out the best result.

Charles is survived by his 8 children including his daughters; Charlicia Slade, Nada Jones, and Charkeisha Slade, his sons; Charles Brown, Dennis Brown, Courtney Slade, Charles "Chucky" Slade, and Quentin Nelson. He also leaves his sisters; Donna Slade, Millie Brown-Cooper and his brother, Bill Brown, his niece, LePearl Slade, grandchildren and a host of additional nieces and nephews, family and friends.
