Charles E. "Bud" Lavender, 69, of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Sunday, July 11, 2010 in Harrisburg Hospital. Charles retired from the former TRW, now Chromolloy, as a machinist. He was a member of Reclaim the Streets Ministries and a former member of Bethany AME Church in Harrisburg and enjoyed working with his hands, especially remodeling, electronics, photography and video. Charles leaves to celebrate his life his wife Frances Adams Lavender, his children Chauntez Venable Daniels of Lancaster, Angela Franklin of GA and formally of Harrisburg and Nirvana Franklin also of Harrisburg, a sister Joan (Sam) Whitted, mother-in-law, Rosa J. Adams of Harrisburg, 6 grandchildren; Shanel Gordon Lavender, Darius Franklin, Damian Lockett Jr., Jaelyn Brown, Jaeana Washington, Armani Franklin and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be held at Reclaim the Streets Ministries, on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 12:00 Noon. The family appreciates your love, support and kindness, during their time of bereavement.
