Charles Allen Hench

Charles Allen Hench, of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born October 14, 1992 to David Stevens and the late Carol Hench, completed his earthly journey on Monday, October 30, 2023 at the Holy Spirit Hospital. Charles graduated from the Cumberland Valley High School and worked at Chilis until his health took a turn. Charles was a hilariously funny, hardworking man. He enjoyed cooking and feeding anyone that wanted a good meal. He was always willing to listen and lend a helping hand. Charles had a heart of gold and would give to anyone he encountered. Charles was giving to the very end and his final request was to donate his organs to help save lives. Charles lived for, loved, and adored his dear sweet daughter Leia. She was his whole world.

Charles was preceded in death by his mother Carol Hench, paternal grandmother Ethel Stevens, maternal grandmother Margret Hench. His legacy will be cherished by his father David Stevens, maternal grandfather Carl Hench, his one and only daughter Leia Maiman, his sister Melissa Matrese (Stephen), niece Delilah Matrese, best friend Sarah Dill and a host of uncles and aunts, cousins, and friends.
