Carrie F. Garman

Carrie F. Garman, 88, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, departed this life into her eternal life on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane hospice residence.

               She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Andrew Franklin, Sr. and Laura (Weathers) Franklin, educated in the Harrisburg school district, retired from the Pennsylvania Dept. of Transportation, and a member of Baptist Fellowship Church.

               Carrie is the widow of Paul Garman, and in addition to him and her parents, was preceded in death by eight of her sisters, Violet Franklin, Laura Garacia, Moselle Allen, Elizabeth Holmes, Rubye Buie, Elaine Dorsey, Anna Butler all of Harrisburg and Ida Hunter of Detroit, Mi; also two brothers, Andrew Franklin, Jr. and Grant R. Franklin of Harrisburg.

               She leaves to celebrate her life caregiver and devoted sister Marguerite Bennett (Albert), brother Hubert E. Franklin (Sharon), a special niece Crystal Butler Lasisi, special cousin Jean Williams and numerous nieces and nephews from Harrisburg, New York, and Michigan.

               The family would like to thank all the aids and staff at the Carolyn Croxton Slane hospice for your care and comfort provided to Carrie during her transition.
