Carolyn Vines

Carolyn Mary Vines was born February 4, 1952 in Fountain, North Carolina. She was the daughter of James Lee Edwards Sr. and Fannie Lee Vines.
Carolyn received formal education in the Pitt County, North Carolina School System. She later relocated to Pennsylvania to live with her father and step-mother Colleen.
Carolyn was a former employee of Goodwill Industries. While at Goodwill she developed her skills as a sorter. She was a member of Mount Calvary C.O.G.I.C. In her spare time, Carolyn loved shopping. Two of her favorite stores were Kmart and Wal-mart. She called them “T-mart” and “Wal-market” respectively. She loved going out to restaurants. One of her favorite activities included listening to gospel music.
In recent years, Carolyn was a resident of Manor Care Healthcare Services Carlisle, PA. As a resident she enjoyed attending the church services, arts & crafts, bingo and getting her nails painted.
Carolyn Mary Vines, 64, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2016 at the Carlisle Regional Hospital, Carlisle, PA. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, mother and sisters (Katie Rose Vines and Wanda Lee Vines). She leaves to cherish her memory her step-mother Colleen Edwards, brothers (James Vines, James Edwards Jr., Jared Edwards), sisters (Shirley Edwards, Kim Johnson, Carlender Edwards-Davenport, Vinnie Edwards), aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
