Carolyn S. Joppy

Carolyn S. Joppy was born on July 17, 1949, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Robert Joppy Sr. and Ella Joppy. On November 19, 2012 the Lord dispatched angels to take her home and leave the woes of life behind.
She was fun loving and always liked to laugh, enjoyed spending time with family, attending church and listening to gospel music.
Carolyn was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Herman Joppy and a nephew Michael A. Joppy. She leaves to celebrate her memory three sisters: Betty and Juanita Joppy of Harrisburg, and Rachelle Pickett (McKinney) of Harrisburg, NC; four brothers: Robert Jr., James Sr., Alphonso (Florine) and Harvey Joppy of Harrisburg; and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.
Services will be conducted at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc., Saturday November 24th at 11 AM with viewing at 10 AM; her final resting place will be in William Howard Day Cemetery.
