Blanche M. Greene

"Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean I'll miss you until we meet again."   Blanche M. Greene, 86 of Harrisburg passed peacefully on February 13, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Brown and Marion Grashm Brown. She was a retired Supervisor for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, a member of Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church, loved cooking, sewing and singing. She leaves to celebrate her life her children, Marian D. Hartsfield, Martha "Cookie" Greene, Andrew Greene, Rita Greene, Antony (Annett) Greene, Shelia (James) Greene-Morrow, Veronica (Cedric) Sherard, Brenda McPherson, Bonita (Stephen) Moore, Karl (Sayward) Greene, sister; Grace Christian, numerous grand, great-grand, great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held at her church 2447 Green Street, Friday, February 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., viewing at 9:00 a.m. with burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
