Benther Burns

Benther Burns, 78 of North 4th Street passed peacefully April 12th in Harrisburg Hospital. He was a 30 year retired employee of the United States Post Office, PA State Supreme and Superior Court Crier, a Korean War Veteran, a member of American Legion Post 826, a 33rd Degree Mason, Officer of the Grand Lodge and Past Master of Chosen Friends Lodge Number 43 F&AM, PHA. Benther also loved outdoor sports and gardening. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Betty, children and grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held at the Hooper Memorial Home, Monday April 16th at 6PM with Masonic services at 7. The funeral will follow. Interment will be Tuesday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery The family of Benther Burns would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation and thanks for the enormous outpouring of love and support from all who have been touched by his life.
