Beatrice J. Jones

"When I come to the end of my Journey And traveled my last weary mile... " Beatrice J. Jones, 62, of Harrisburg, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in Harrisburg Hospital. Beatrice retired from the Hamilton Health Center as a Wic Nutritionist Assistant with 28 years of dedicated service. She was a member of People's Community Baptist Church; a trustee, sexton and enjoyed her grandchildren, her family, vacationing and shopping. Beatrice's greatest gift was giving to others, especially those in need. She leaves to celebrate her life and memory her two children Albert Jones, Jr. of Harrisburg and Cassandra Jones of VA, her father Robert H. George Sr., siblings Barbara Bryson and Vicki George all of Harrisburg, Donna Brown of TX, Aprile Greene and Robert George Jr. also of Harrisburg, Gordan George of Fayetteville, PA, as well as Gregory and Michael George both of Harrisburg, 8 grandchildren in addition to a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery. The family is appreciative of your many acts of kindness shown to them during their time of sorrow.
