Barbara A. Harris

Barbara A. Harris, 69 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Friday, October 14, 2011 at home with her family at her side. Barbara had over 30 years of service with ILGWU and a few years with the Commonwealth of PA. Barbara was a former member of 1st Baptist of Steelton, an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed reading movies and TV shows. She leaves to celebrate her memory her daughters, Robin Thompson of Harrisburg and Hope K. Robertson of West Virginia, 2 sisters, Phyllis Johnson of NY and Patricia Beckett of Philadelphia, one aunt, Isabelle Evans also of NY, 4 grandchildren, Timothy Robertson II, Ashlea Thompson, Brenton "Tre" Thompson III and James Robertson and a host of relatives and friends. Barbara recently mourned the passing of her companion, Robert Bullock. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
