ARTHUR RICHARDSON, AGE 85 OF HARRISBURG, PA ENTERED ETERNAL REST WITH THE LORD ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2007. HE WAS BORN JUNE 7, 1921 IN SHIPPENSBURG, PA. HE
WAS A MEMBER OF CAMP CURTIN MITCHELL MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.
ARTHUR WAS A GRADUATE OF SHIPPENSBURG PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND ATTENDED THOMPSON INSTITUTE FROM 1949-1952. HE WAS A MILITARY VETERAN SERVING OUR COUNTRY IN WORLD WAR II. ART LOVED FLEA MARKETS, ESPECIALLY SATURDAY'S MARKET. HE LOVED LISTENING
TO MUSIC AND WATCHING ANIMALS ON THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL.
ARTHUR WAS EMPLOYED BY THE NAVY SUPPLY DEPOT FOR 30 YEARS BEFORE HIS RETIREMENT AND 13 YEARS EMPLOYED WITH VILLA TERESA NURSING HOME. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN LEGION POST 733.
ARTHUR WAS KIND AND COMPASSIONATE AND LOVED HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY HIS FAMILY; DAUGHTER, STELLA BANKS OF YORK, PA, HIS SISTER MARY E HUDSON AND BROTHER DAVID RICHARDSON OF HARRISBURG, PA; 3 GRANDCHILDREN , NICOLE BRABHAM,
TERRELL BANKS AND BRITTANY BANKS AND 7 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN AND MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS AND FRIENDS.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT HIS CHURCH ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2007 AT 11:00 AM, VIEWING AT 10:00. BURIAL WILL BE AT INDIANTOWN GAP NATIONAL CEMETERY
