Alzerene Niree Pierce was born in Harrisburg Hospital on December 3, 2004 to his loving parents, August Thomas and the late Alfred Pierce. His father was laid to rest in New Jersey Roosevelt Cemetery on April 6, 2006.
“Niree” as he was affectionately called by those who loved him, graduated from Foose Elementary School and began his journey thru Rowland and Hamilton Schools and was working on his diploma thru Pennsylvania Cyber School. He attended the Boys and Girls Club until his family relocated to Middletown.
He was a happy kid, he loved to eat, enjoyed playing sports; basketball and especially football. His passion in life was making music. Thru his music he expressed his pain and things he saw daily living in Harrisburg.
Along with his father he is predeceased by his grandmother Rena Pierce, great-grandmother Classie Pierce, great-grandfather Frank Pierce, great-grandfather Willie Bethea Jr. and Great Aunt Mary Helen Bethea.
He is survived by his mother and step-father Dawan Williams, siblings; Zania Pierce, Shakeem Pierce, Asiana Curran, his unborn daughter A'zyiah Niree Peirce, Grandma Sherrie Thomas, Great Aunt Sally Loyd and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
The family of Niree would like everyone to see the blessing in his life and the lesson in his death.
Alzerene Niree Pierce will always be loved and he will be truly missed by all who knew him. He impacted many lives in the short time God gave him to us.
