Alvin L. Hanna

"To everything there is a season" Alvin L. Hanna of Susquehanna Township passed peacefully at Colonial Park Care Center on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at age 71. Alvin was the son of the late Robert and Lucille Hanna; he graduated from Steelton High School, was employed at New Cumberland Army Depot, retired from Corpus Christi Army Depot and worked at M&T Bank. He was also a United States Navy veteran. Alvin leaves to celebrate his life and memory his children; Wendy Hawkins, Robin Hanna and Shawn Hanna all of Harrisburg, 3 step-children Robin Sampson of Glenmore, PA, Angela Ulen of Harrisburg and Stewart Branam of Alexandria, Virginia, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, five sisters Annette Seay of Harrisburg, Alda Hanna Epps of Steelton, Anita Hanna Matthews of Harrisburg, Constance "Connie" Peterson of Steelton, Rose Marie Carter of Harrisburg and one brother William "Billy" Hanna of Harrisburg, in addition to a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services will be held at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 12 Noon, viewing at 11:00 a.m. and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, the family greatly appreciates your love and support, especially the CPCC Nursing Staff during our loss.
