Allen Leroy Hurst

Allen Leroy Hurst, 79 of Boas Street passed peacefully Sunday May 27th in Community General Hospital. Allen was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, a Navy Veteran and a Masonic brother of the Chosen Friends Lodge #43 PHA. Amongst the many people who will mourn his passing will be his beloved wife of over fifty years Eunice, children Kim, Allen Jr., Kevin and Gary Hurst and Joann Taylor, siblings Douglas and Marshall Hurst, Dorothy Holmes, Lillian Williams, Jean Ward and Phyllis Hale with twelve grand, thirteen great-grand and three great-great grandchildren with a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held Friday June 1st at 11AM with viewing at 10AM in Saint Paul's Episcopal Church with Reverend Victor Thomas officiating. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, 248 Seneca Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Thank you.
