Addie Hawkins

You can remember her only that she is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

Addie Hawkins 81 of Edgemont Road passed peacefully Saturday April 9, 2011 at Homeland Nursing Center. She was a past employee of Goldsmith Furniture Store and member, Evangelist, Trustee, Choir, and Missionary of the Mt. Sinai A.M.E. church. She leaves five children Sharon Smith, Cheryl, Nadine, Stephanie and Vance Hawkins to mourn her passing, also her sister Shirley Winfield. Amongst the many others she leaves eight grand and thirteen great-grandchildren with a devoted sister/friend Helen Lester to mourn her.

Services will be in Bethany A.M.E. church, 21^st and Derry Streets Saturday April 16, 2011 at twelve noon with viewing at ten. Her final resting place will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
