Adam Golden

Adam Golden was born on March 21, 1987. He was born in Polyclinic Hospital in Harrisburg, PA. Adam loved basketball from the time he was about 2 years old. He actually was dribbling and shooting by age 3. He had a little basketball goal when he was three and he would love to imitate the players in the NBA. It seemed that he was a natural athlete in all the sports that he played as a young child, but he really only loved basketball. Adam received the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior at a young age and was extremely proficient at memorizing Bible verses. Adam would actually witness to other children when he was in elementary school. In high school Adam followed in his father's footsteps. He didn't particularly like school but he felt that it was worth it since it gave him the opportunity to play basketball. Adam had some amazing high school basketball games. He had many forty point games. He had a fifty-three point game in the tenth grade. He had a sixty-three point game as a senior. Adam was one of the highest scoring players in the history of Pennsylvania high school basketball. Adam loved his family very much. He worked with his dad. He loved to make movies with his brother and sister and he loved his mom and would always kid his brother and sister about being her favorite. He loved hanging out with his cousins they were more like brothers and sisters. Adam will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind to celebrate his life his father, Myron Golden, his mother Tonie Golden, his brother A. C. Golden, his sister Deedee Golden, grandparents and more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends than can be numbered. Adam will be missed. Our loss is his gain because to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. His services will be held on Thursday April 26th in The Christian Life Assembly Church, 2645 Lisburn Road in CampHill at 11AM. His viewing will be in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc. Wednesday April 25th from 5 to 7PM with interment Thursday in Paxtang Cemetery.
